The latest wave of terror has reached Tel Aviv as a Palestinian assailant is shot dead by security forces.
A young woman soldier has been stabbed in Tel Aviv. This afternoon, a young Palestinian terrorist attempted to snatch her gun on Menachem Begin Road near the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv. Although he failed, brandishing a screwdriver, he was able to injure her lightly with stab wounds in the head.
The Palestinian fled but after a chase was shot dead by an Israel Air Force officer. During the chase, the Palestinian attacked and lightly injured four passersby.
Israel Police said they believed the Palestinian worked on a nearby construction site.
Earlier today a 25 year-old yeshiva student was seriously injured after being stabbed by a Palestinian at a Jerusalem light rail station in French Hill. The 19 year-old Palestinian from East Jerusalem was apprehended by police.
