Zionist Union extends lead in new poll

The union of Labor and Hatenuah is projected to receive 24 seats, and Likud only 21, in a Knesset Channel poll.

A new poll conducted yesterday by Panels Politics for the Knesset Channel gave the following results: were the elections for the 20th Knesset taking place today, the Zionist Union Party would lead with 24 seats, Likud would have 21 seats, and Yesh Atid and the United Arab List would have 13 seats each.

Habayit Hayehudi would have 12 seats, Kulanu 8, and Shas and United Torah Judaism 7 each. Meretz would have 6 seats, Yisrael Beitenu 5, and Yahad 4. The remaining parties would receive no Knesset seats.

Is this election campaign over the Iranian issue, or the housing crisis? 56% of the respondents said the housing crisis would determine their vote, while 30% said they would vote according to the Iranian question.

The poll used a sample of 800 respondents, and the sample error was 3.1%.
