Google Israel is widening its lead and consolidating its position as the most views website in Israel, according to the TIM/Teleseker Internet survey for October 2007. They survey ranks websites' weekly exposure rates. Google Israel had an exposure rate of 90.6%, up two percentage points from September.
Both second placed Walla Communications Ltd. (TASE: WALA) and third placed Ynet, owned by Hebrew daily "Yediot Ahronot", saw their exposure rates fall. Walla's exposure rate fell to 72.5% in October from 73.6% in September, and Ynet's exposure rate fell to 57.9% from 61.5%. The rise in the two sites' exposure rates since July has thus come to an end.

Among economic news sites, the exposure rate of "Globes" rose to 11.8% in October from 11.1% in September, while "TheMarker", owned by Hebrew daily "Haaretz" fell to 12% from 12.6%. Both sites had an exposure rate of 15.2% at workplaces.
The TIM/Teleseker survey found 3.9 million surfers in Israel over the age of 13, amounting to 55% of the total population and 72% of the over-13 population.
