L’Oreal Paris sets up shop in Israel

The cosmetics company plans ten Israeli stores within three years.

International cosmetics chain L’Oreal Paris is opening its first flagship store in Israel. The company plans to open ten stores within three years. The first store will be opened under the store-in-store concept at New Hamashbir Lazarchan Ltd. in the Kiryon Mall in Kiryat Bialik. The idea is to create an international self-service cosmetic shopping experience.

L’Oreal Paris consumer products division manager Eli Sagiv said, “The opening of a L’Oreal Paris store at a New Hamashbir Lazarchan branch is a breakthrough in the cosmetics industry in Israel and the world, by creating a different, original and international shopping experience.

“Israel is one of the first countries where the potential of this step was recognized. We and our retail partner see this as a vision come true. We decided to open the first flagship store in the Kiryon Mall because the mall in general, and its cosmetics department in particular, have heavy traffic. We consider the mall’s visitors as the perfect target audience for L’Oreal’s products.”
