Israeli firm enables voice, video messages

Voice-Me beta website offers an alternative to e-mail.

Israeli developer of IP voice and video messaging Voice-Me Ltd. is launching a new product. The company's beta website offers an alternative to e-mail. The site enables surfers to send voice and video messages to an e-mail address at no cost and with no need to download software.

The service is provided through anonymous registration that opens a personal mailbox that resembles Outlook, which can receive, manage, and file voicemail messages and create contact lists.

Voice-Me co-founder and CEO Amit Kamissa says, "Voice and video messages are not new, and there are many software applications enabling them. Our innovation is the simplicity of operation and the availability of service."
