Israel Electric Corporation's (IEC) board of directors has ordered the company's management to take steps to encourage the employment of Arabs at the company and to promote them. Sources inform ''Globes'' that the proportion of Arabs in the hiring process will be equal to the Arab's proportion of the general population - 20%.
The IEC board also decided to employ Arabs at the company's 103 telephone call center.
