ELRO Amba will deploy a broadband voice and IP network.
Alvarion, Ceragon Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: CRNT; TASE:CRNT), and ECI Telecom Ltd. are involved in the establishment of a WiMAX network in Denmark. The three companies signed three-year framework contracts with Danish services company ELRO Amba. The sizes of the contracts have not been disclosed, but market sources estimate their value at tens of millions of dollars.
ELRO Amba will deploy a WiMAX broadband voice and IP network, which will include ECI's transmission and network services, Alavarion's WiMAX infrastructure, and Ceragon's microwave technology.
