Ofakim incubator funds 2 new healthcare start-ups

HCS and RDD received $2.1 million each.

Capital Point Ltd. (TASE:CPTP) incubator Ofakim Hi-Tech Ventures has invested $2.1 million each in two new healthcare start-ups: RDD Pharma Ltd. and Heart Control System Ltd. (HCS). The investment agreements were signed after the two companies obtained investment commitments from the Office of the Chief Scientist.

RDD is developing rectal drug delivery device for direct and continuous drug administration for the treatment of anal fissure, fecal incontinence, and hemorrhoids. HCS is developing a technology for predicting heart failure designed by top cardiologists.
