Capital market source: It's good that Bloomberg finds Israel's capital market important.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that financial wires services company Bloomberg LP will open its second office in Israel on September 10, and has rented space in Jerusalem's Malcha Technology Park. The company's existing office is in Ramat Gan.

Bloomberg is the world's largest financial media company. It has 136 offices worldwide and 10,000 employees. The Bloomberg Professional Service provides real-time news, data, and tools for financial institutions and press, and is found in every dealing room worldwide. It was founded by Michael Bloomberg, who went to become Mayor of New York City.

A senior capital market source said, "It seems that Bloomberg understands that the Israeli capital market is important enough to open an office here, and that's a good thing."
