Plasan armors Sand Cats for Israel Police

The contract is worth NIS 25 million.

Plasan , owned by Kibbutz Sasa, has won a NIS 25 million tender for the supply of dozens of Sand Cat armored jeeps to the Israel Police.

The Sand Cat is based on a commercial Ford F-Series 4x4 chassis adapted for military use by Manning Equipment Co. Inc. and fitted with Plasan Sasa designed and manufactured modular armor kits made from steel, ceramics, and composites.
