PerSay signs deals worth $4 million

The voice recognition company has signed contracts with customers in China, the Philippines and US.

Voice recognition company PerSay Ltd. has signed three contracts worth $4 million. PerSay develops and markets voice recognition for call centers that require secure identification of customers. The start-ups clients include banks, insurance companies, mutual funds and telecoms.

Per-Say's new contracts are with China Merchants Bank (CMB), West Interactive, one of America's largest voice answering service outsourcing providers, and the Philippines government National Insurance Institute.

Per-Say has also been chosen as the technology provider for Dimension Data, a South African contact center distributor.

Per-Say was founded in 2000 and has raised $10 million from Teuza - A Fairchild Technology Venture Fund Ltd. (TASE:TUZA), Shrem Fudim Technologies Ltd. (TASE:SFKT) and Athlone. The company has earned income of about $6 million.
