The Dell Inc. CEO has a meeting scheduled with President Shimon Peres.
A little over a year since his previous visit to Israel, Dell Inc. CEO Michael Dell is expected here again this week. This time, it is apparently a personal visit, which explains the secrecy surrounding it. It is believed that Dell has a meeting scheduled with President Shimon Peres at the end of the week.
Dell (44) and Peres have a long standing acquaintance. At the World Economic Forum in Davos in January, it was reported that Peres proposed to Dell that he should a business development center in Jerusalem to focus on computerized interactive learning tools. At the time, Dell gave a polite response, but perhaps he will have something more concrete to tell the president this week.
