Casino operator Cherokee Nation expands NICE deal

CNE operations include seven casinos in Oklahoma.

NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) today announced that it has received follow on orders from Oklahoma casino operator Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE) for its NiceVision video surveillance solution.

The new orders are part of a 7-digit casino upgrade project that CNE initiated last year to replace various video surveillance systems and standardize on NICE's IP-capable video surveillance technology.

UBS analyst Roni Biron recently raised his recommendation on NICE to "Buy" from "Neutral", and raised his target price for the company by 20%, to $35. Biron cited better results and better visibility at information technology companies in the second quarter.

CNE is installing NICE systems at two CNE casinos - the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, and the Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs casino.

Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE) is the retail, gaming, entertainment, hospitality and tourism segment of Cherokee Nation. Wholly owned by the Cherokee Nation, CNE operations include seven casinos in Tulsa, Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson and Tahlequah .

Shares in NICE closed at $30 on Nasdaq on Friday.
