Virtualization co InstallFree raises $3m

The company provides desktop application virtualization and management solutions designed to reduce IT costs and improve efficiency.

Virtualization company InstallFree Inc. has raised $3 million out of a total offering in $3.8 million in equity according to a report filed with the SEC.

The report did not mention investors names but named in the filing were representatives of Ignition Partners and Trilogy Partnership who invested when the company raised $8.5 million in October 2008. The company has raised $13 million to date.

The company which has its R&D center in Ra'anana was founded in 2006 by president and CEO Yoram Gabay and CTO Netzer Shlomai. InstallFree develops and provides desktop application virtualization and management solutions designed to reduce IT costs and improve efficiency.
