Allot Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq:ALLT) has obtained a $4.5 million order for its flagship product from a Tier-1 fixed operator, whose name it did not disclose. The company will supply its Allot Service Gateway Sigma (SG-Sigma) product for improving network efficiency by integrating network intelligence, policy control, and revenue-generating services in a single platform. The system will initially handle more than 1 terabit of traffic.
Allot's share price fell 3.7% yesterday to $4.70, giving a market cap of $102 million.
