Vietnam operator picks mobile web browsing co InfoGin

InfoGin CEO Wyler: The mobile Internet in Vietnam is growing.

Mobile web browsing technology developer InfoGin will provide its web-to-mobile content adaptation solution to Vietnamese telecommunications company Viettel.

The InfoGin-powered system, called WebSurf, allows consumers to navigate the Web and access favorite sites using their mobile device. Vietel's offering will let its mobile users see a familiar Internet experience, accessing full Web content from any wireless device.

Web pages accessed via WebSurf are automatically formatted to fit the screen of any mobile phone.

InfoGin founder and CEO Eran Wyler said, "The mobile Internet market in Vietnam is growing rapidly and with the launch of Websurf, Viettel can now offer the real Internet over any device in Vietnam."

Kfar Saba-based InfoGin's investors include Minnesota-based venture capital fund Coral Capital Management.
