ComScore Inc. reports that Russian Internet users are the world's most active users of social networks, and that Israel is in second place.
The survey found 34.5 million Internet users in Russia visited a social network site at least once during August 2010, 74.5% of all Internet users in the country. The average time per user spent on social networks is 9.8 hours a month. This figure is more than double the global average time spent on social networks - 4.5 hours a month.
The average time per user spent on social networks in Israeli is 9.2 hours a month. Turkey is in third place, with average time per user spent on social networks of 7.6 hours a month.
