Medigus completes video processing systems development

The systems support a range of medical video signal sources as well as the company's miniature cameras.

Esophagus endoscope developer Medigus Ltd. (TASE:MDGS) today announced that it has completed development of two digital video processing systems.

The first product uses five digital processes. It is designed for complex procedures. The system uses advanced algorithms to process video signals and noise to provide a real-time image on digital receivers.

The second product is a digital video processing device for mobile applications. It is designed for small clinics.

Medigus said that the systems support a range of medical video signal sources as well as the company's miniature cameras. The plans to offer the systems to current and new customers, both as an independent product and as a peripheral for the company's endoscopes and cameras.

Medigus said that it will apply to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and for EU CE Mark certification for the products.

Medigus's share price rose 5.2% today to NIS 1.42, giving a market cap of NIS 102 million.
