Media sharing co Libox closes down

Israeli media sharing start-up Libox Ltd. has closed down after three years and raising $3 million. The company was founded by portal Walla Communications Ltd. (TASE: WALA) founder Erez Pilosof.

Libox developed technology to synchronize personal media files, such as photographs, video clips, and music files, kept on a PC or mobile device, and share them easily and immediately.

Libox's investors included Evergreen Venture Partners and Rhodium Group . Libox attracted considerable media interest - more than usual for a new start-up - when it was founded in 2008.
