Elbit Systems unit win $15.6m US Navy contract
Newly acquired M7 Aerospace will support cargo and utility planes based worldwide.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) has won a $15.6 million contract by the US Naval Air Systems Command to provide contractor logistics support and maintenance for US Navy planes. The five-year contract with four one-year options to renew was awarded to M7 Aerospace LP, which Elbit Systems' wholly-owned US subsidiary Elbit Systems of America LLC recently acquired.
M7 will provide overall program management and logistics support for seven US Navy RC/EC/C-26D cargo and passenger aircraft and twelve UC-35C/D utility aircraft at the planes' bases worldwide.
Elbit Systems of America ôresident and CEO, Raanan Horowitz said, "M7 has an extensive legacy in providing outstanding logistics support to the US Army and US Air Force, and we look forward to demonstrating our expertise and professionalism to our US Navy customer."
