Threat management co 3i-Mind acquires US co iJet

3i-Mind paid tens of millions of dollars for iJet, which develops risk management solutions.

3i-Mind Ltd. has acquired iJet International Inc., a large and established US company for tens of millions of dollars. 3i-Mind, which is only one year old, develops threat management software solutions; iJet provides clients with operational risk management solutions

3i-Mind chairman Mati Kochavi is also an owner and CEO of security solutions provider AGT International. iJet will continue to operate as an independent unit and its CEO, Stephen Hoffman, will stay at his post.

Kochavi said, "iJet is a leader in the US in analyzing Internet data with human research. It has customers in over 120 countries."

Hoffman said, “Organizations around the world understand the need to identify emerging threats so they can move from reacting to proactively addressing them in the earliest stages of development. Together, 3i-Mind and iJet will provide relevant intelligence to help organizations predict and manage evolving threats both locally and around the world."

3i-Mind has 150 employees at its R&D center in Kfar Netter, and has been profitable from the beginning.

iJet was founded by former US intelligence officers. The company has over 500 government and business customers, including 30 Fortune 100 companies in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, defense, and financial industries.
