Cyber threat solutions co Light Cyber raises $1.5m

Light Cyber's solutions target cyber attacks on enterprises by criminal organizations, business rivals, or governments.

Data security solutions developer Light Cyber Ltd. has raised $1.5 million from Glilot Capital Partners, a new Israeli venture capital firm. Light Cyber CEO Giora Engel and CTO Michael Mumcuoglu founded the company earlier this year.

Light Cyber's solutions target cyber attacks on enterprises by criminal organizations, business rivals, or governments. Its technology identifies threats by constantly monitoring the net and identifying abnormal behavior. Early threat identification facilitates limiting or preventing cyber attacks.

Glilot Capital Partners was established by Kobi Samboursky, Arik Kleinstein, former Israeli ambassador to US Sallai Meridor, Aaron Abramovich, and Gordon England, a former US deputy secretary of defense. It will make early stage investments in information security, cyber, internet, and mobile applications companies.
