Soros sells ClickSoftware stake, buys Comverse shares

George Soros reduced his ClickSoftware stake from 5.1% to 2.8%, but raised his Comverse stake to 7%.

Geoge Soros has sold half his stake in ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CKSW) and increased his stake in Comverse Technology Inc. (Pink Sheets: CMVT).

During the fourth quarter of 2011, Soros sold 2.3% of ClickSoftware, reducing his stake in the company to 2.8%. He sold the share at around $8 each, at a profit of 25%. At the same time, he bought about one million Comverse shares, increasing his stake to 7% at the end of 2011 from 6.7% a year earlier.

ClickSoftware's share price closed at $9.72 on Friday, giving a market cap of $298 million, and Comverse's share price closed at $6.80, giving a market cap of $1.4 billion.
