Ben Gurion passenger traffic to near 3 million for July, August

The Israel Airports Authority expects peak passenger traffic tomorrow at Ben Gurion Airport as 60,000 passengers fly in and out of Israel on 390 flights.

The Israel Airports Authority predicts passenger traffic of about 50,000-60,000 per day throughout August as the summer vacation season hits its peak, with the highest numbers on Sundays and Thursdays.

In total, 2.9 million passengers are expected to pass through Ben Gurion Airport in July and August, up 2.3% from the corresponding months of last year.

The Israel Airports Authority advises passengers to keep up to date regarding flight times and to come to the airport three hours before the scheduled take off.

The Israel Airports Authority reports that 1.4 million passengers passed through the airport in July, up 4.5% from last year. In July there were 9,576 incoming and outbound flights, a 1.5% rise.
