Dov Moran unveils mobile games merchandising co LoopJoy

Moran serves as chairman of LoopJoy, which enables app developers to integrate a store for the sale of branded merchandise, such as T-shirts or iPhone cases with mobile games.

Dov Moran today unveiled LoopJoy Ltd., a new start-up engaged in the sale of branded merchandise for mobile apps. He has invested several hundred thousand dollars in the venture, and serves as its chairman.

LoopJoy CEO Ruth Polachek founded the company earlier this year. The company enables app developers to integrate a store for the sale of branded merchandise, such as T-shirts or iPhone cases with mobile games. Angry Birds company Rovio Inc. is one of the most successful merchandising of a mobile app, selling T-shirts, stuffed animals, smartphone cases, and food.

LoopJoy isn't Moran's only smartphone company at this time. He has also invested in consumer networking company Sherut.net, which allows companies to automatically record calls from users to service centers; smart television company Comigo Ltd.; and smartype keyboard developer KeyView Ltd.
