SAS is adding a third weekly flight between Tel Aviv and Copenhagen. Scandinavian Airlines resumed flights to Israel earlier this year, after suspending them ten years ago, during the second intifada.

SAS Israel manager Yaki Cohen told "Globes" that in view of the potential that the airline sees in the Israeli market, it was adding seats to its Tel Aviv-Copenhagen route, by switching from the 141-seat Airbus A319 to the 198-seat Airbus 321. The airline is also rescheduling its schedule from two weekly flights on Monday and Thursday, to three weekly flights on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, mainly to meet the schedules of business passengers. Departures to Copenhagen will be four hours earlier than previously, in order to make follow-on flights.
