Mon: Security situation weighs on TASE

Delek Group and Israel Corp. dragged the market down, while Mellanox, NICE, and EZchip rose.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.72% to 1,199.41 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.55% to 1,061.38 points, but the TechBlue 50 Index rose 0.41% to 328.07 points. Turnover was NIS 807.1 million.

The leading TASE indices fell today on domestic security concerns, despite gains in European markets and at the opening on Wall Street.

In the bond market, long-term Shahar government shekel bonds were unchanged and long-term Galil CPI-linked government bonds rose by up to 0.1%. The corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index rose 0.11%.

In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.927/$, up 0.80% on Friday's rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.994/€, up 0.59%.

In the stock market, Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) and Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) both fell 2.9% for the biggest losses among Tel Aviv 25 shares.

Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:MLNX; TASE:MLNX) rose 1.4% and NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 1.3% for the biggest gains among Tel Aviv 25 shares, while EZchip Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: EZCH; TASE:EZCH) rose another 0.5%.

Banks fell today with Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) down 2.3%, on the day's biggest turnover of NIS 81 million, and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) down 1.3%.

Telcos were mixed, with Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) down 2.4% and Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) down 1.5%, but Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) rose 1.4%.

Paz Oil Company Ltd. (TASE:PZOL) fell 1.5%. Clal Finance today gave the company a "Market perform" recommendation following a 32% rise in its share price in the past two months. Its peer on the index, Oil Refineries Ltd. (TASE:ORL), fell 2.2%.

On the Tel Aviv 100 Index, insurance companies also fell, led by a 1.4% drop by Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd. (TASE: CLIS) and a 1.3% drop by Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL).

Pluristem Therapeutics Ltd. (Nasdaq:PSTI; DAX: PJT: PLTR) fell 3.6%. Ormat Industries Ltd. (TASE: ORMT) fell 1%, despite an upgraded for its subsidiary Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA) by Barclays Capital from "Sell" to "Neutral".

Small-cap Orbit Technologies Ltd. (TASE:ORBI) rose another 24.9% today, following yesterday's 39.9% jump, after announcing a huge contract.
