Social recruitment solutions co Tomigo raises $500,000

The Herzliya based company has raised the seed funding from Yaron Carni's Tel Aviv Angel Group.

Social recruiting solutions company Tomigo has raised $500,000 in seed funding from Yaron Carni's Tel Aviv Angel Group.

Tomigo is a social recruiting platform that leverages a company's social connections to hire top talent on a "friend brings a friend" basis. The start up's B2B platform enables employees to take an active part in the recruiting process, providing companies with an opportunity to tap into a potential social talent pool, recruit new talent to the company and maximize return on investment of human resources efforts.

Tomigo was founded in 2011 by CEO Tal Moran, CTO Nimrod Moran, and business development manager Lior Atias. Headquartered in Herzliya, customers include Matrix IT Ltd. (TASE:MTRX), EZchip Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: EZCH; TASE:EZCH), Microsemi, and John Bryce.
