ISA lets Nochi Dankner leave Israel for 24 hours

Dankner is flying to Argentina to meet Eduardo Elsztain on further investment in Ganden.

Nochi Dankner, who is under investigation by the Israel securities Authority on suspicion of securities fraud, has received special permission to leave Israel for 24 hours. Dankner posted an additional surety of NIS 3 million in order to be allowed to leave the country, in addition to the NIS 5 million already given.

Dankner is due to meet Eduardo Elsztain in Argentina, to persuade Elsztain to exercise his option to invest a further $75 million in Ganden, the private company via which Dankner controls IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH), following an earlier investment of $25 million.
