"Yediot Ahronot": MKs will receive a monthly pay raise of NIS 1,119 on January 1.
Hebrew daily "Yediot Ahronot" reports that top public sector employees will receive a pay rise on January 1, 2013.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will receive a rise of NIS 640 a month on January 1, to NIS 46,644. President Shimon Peres will receive a rise of NIS 1,500 a month to NIS 53,612.
Supreme Court President Asher Grunis will also receive a NIS 1,500 rise to NIS 52,015. Governor of the Bank of Israel Prof. Stanley Fischer and State Comptroller Joseph Shapira will each receive a rise of NIS 579 a month, and members of Knesset will receive a rise of NIS 1,119 to NIS 38,404 a month.
