Channel 2 reports that it was a Mazda car that exploded as it pulled up alongside a bus in heavy traffic. The incident occurred close to where a terrorist bomb exploded on a bus in November, injuring several people.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) responded by erasing the 0.7% gain in morning trading on the Tel Aviv 25 Index but bounced back again when it became clear that this was not a major incident.
