Health Canada approves Brainsway depression therapy

The company can sell its Deep TMS device, approved last week by the FDA, for the treatment of depression in Canada.

Brainsway Ltd. (TASE:BRIN) has obtained approval from Health Canada for its Deep TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) device for the treatment of depression in patients for whom therapeutics have not improved their condition.

Earlier this month, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Deep TMS device for the treatment of depression in patients for whom therapeutics have not improved their condition.
