Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT; TASE: GILT) wholly-owned US subsidiary Spacenet Inc. has won a five-year $20 million contract to upgrade and provide network connectivity for over 5,700 locations of a leading global delivery service organization. The contract has options to extend for a total of up to 14 years altogether.
Spacenet will service more than 1,900 sites with broadband connectivity and more than 3,800 sites with satellite-based VSAT technology.
Today's contract follows two contracts in India and Mexico announced by Gilat this month.
"For more than a decade, Spacenet has provided a variety of managed network services to this organization," said Spacenet president and CEO Glenn Katz.
