Alvarion deploys Argentine smart city project

Alvarion has deployed its wireless broadband solution for the implementation of Mar del Plata’s Smart City network, in a $1 million project.

Mar del Plata, at the gateway to Patagonia, is Argentina's seventh largest city, with a population of 600,000 and strong tourist industry. Its The Smart City network connects municipal centers, including libraries, community centers, schools, hospitals, clinics, and municipal offices to provide secure data connectivity, VoIP, and video applications.
