Mobile app Scringo raises $700,000

The seed financing was invested by Inimiti and angel investors as Scringo launched its "Developer Zone" centralized location where developers can load key features.

Mobile app developer Scringo has raised $700,000 in seed funding from Israeli new media focused venture capital fund Inimiti and angel investors. At the same time the Ra'anana-based company also launched its service, which allows mobile developers to swiftly and easily access a "Developer Zone"- a centralized location where they can instantly load up on key features that directly address reach (distribution), retention (user engagement) and revenue (monetization).

The service is free, and Scringo’s new platform supports both iOS and Android. Over 1,000 developers have already signed up for the service, the company said, offering more than 250 apps that collectively support more than one million end-users.

Scringo co-founder VP marketing and products Ran Avrahamy said, “We founded Scringo with the goal of helping developers bypass the time-consuming and costly process of creating comprehensive functionality themselves, so they can instead focus on their core app features and monetization. As evidenced by the strong metrics from our beta program and the number of developers already using Scringo, our solution has been overwhelmingly successful in achieving these objectives."

Avrahamy founded Scringo together with CEO Elon Gecht and CTO Ofer Kalisky.
