Website protection co SiteBlackBox raises $4.5m

SiteBlackBox is an SaaS company developing products to protect websites and valuable online assets by neutralizing traffic from hostile sources, while ensuring the highest quality-of-experience to legitimate users.

Website protection company SiteBlackBox Ltd. has raised $4.5 million in a round of financing led by KEC Holdings, and including OurCrowd, Lazarus Investment Partners, TheTime and private investors.

SiteBlackBox is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company developing products to protect websites and valuable online assets by neutralizing traffic from hostile sources, while ensuring the highest quality-of-experience to legitimate users.

SiteBlackBox will invest the proceeds from the latest financing round to grow its products, introduce new features and expand marketing in the US.

SiteBlackBox was founded in 2008 by CEO Shay Rapaport and CTO Erez Azaria and is located in TheTime's incubator in Tel Aviv. The company had previously raised $600,000 in seed round financing from TheTime and other investors. SiteBlackBox has 16 employees.
