The company will supply its Wise Intelligence Technology (WiT) system for intelligence analysis and cyber defense.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) has won a $40 million contract with an African country, which it did not name, for the company's Wise Intelligence Technology (WiT) system for intelligence analysis and cyber defense. The system will be supplied within two years.

WiT supports every stage of the intelligence process, from data gathering from multiple sources, databases, and sensors, through processing, supporting intelligence personnel in the analysis and evaluation of the information, and disseminating the intelligence to the intended recipient. WiT will be integrated with various data sources, including Elbit Systems' Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) solution and Elbit Systems' PC Surveillance Systems (PSS) for covert intelligence gathering.

Elbit Systems general manager Land and C4I Yehuda Vered said that the WiT system is field-proven fully operational and customizable, and he hoped for more orders.
