Four million Israelis use Facebook

2.4 million Israelis enter Facebook daily, according to the company's official figures.

Israel's Facebook community numbers four million real users, who enter the social networking site at least once a month, and are not fake profiles. 60% of the Israeli users, 2.4 million people, enter Facebook daily, according to the company's official figures.

52% of Israeli Facebook users are men and 48% are women. People aged 18-24 are the biggest segment by age, accounting for 30% of all users. They are followed by people aged 25-34 (25% of users), while people aged 35-44 account for a further 15%. Youths aged 13-17 account for 12% of all Israeli Facebook users, people aged 45-54 account for 10%, and people over the age of 55 account for 8%.

As for mobile access to Facebook, iPhone is the lead, with 40% of Israeli users accessing Facebook via the device, compared with 25% of users who use Android devices. 85% of Facebook users are still loyal to their PCs for accessing the social network. 10% of users access Facebook via iPads and 20% via regular mobile phones.

In May, Israelis uploaded 42.4 million onto their Facebook pages, wrote 12.4 million posts, and hit "Like" 764 million times. They also sent 711 million messages and made 13 million status updates.
