The company has sought to raise NIS 200 million.
Scailex Corporation (TASE: SCIX; Pink Sheets:SCIXF), controlled by Ilan Ben-Dov, succeeded in raising NIS 135 million today at an interest rate of 9%, CPI-linked, the maximum rate set in the offering. The company had wanted to raise NIS 200 million.
The offering was led by Meitav and Rosario.
Ben-Dov's move comes when he has his back to the wall, since in the coming month Scailex must pay its bondholders interest and principal of NIS 183 million, almost all the cash it has.
