Consumer Electronics Association (CES) to hold Tel Aviv show

The CES Unveiled Tel Aviv will be held at the Hilton on October 7, 2013.

The Consumer Electronics Association, which hosts the annual CES in Las Vegas as well as conferences in New York, London and Paris, will hold its first show in Israel. The CES Unveiled Tel Aviv will be held at the Hilton on October 7, 2013. There will be no entrance fee.

"350 Israelis came to the last CES, and we want many more to join," said Consumer Electronics Association president and CEO Gary Shapiro, who will come to Israel for the event. "Israel is a leading and important player in global high tech, and we are proud to bring the CES to this hot technology market."

Shapiro added, "The visitors will be exposed to a great deal of the latest information about the global electronics industry in general, and about Israel's share in this industry, and will see innovative and breakthrough technologies."

The CES Unveiled Tel Aviv will include a special pavilion for presentations by start-ups and entrepreneurs. Top Consumer Electronics Association research department executives will present up-to-date information about the global electronics industries, new trends, companies' owners, assessments about future mergers, and other subjects.
