Mon: Bezeq boosts market

Bezeq continued to rise after Teddy Sagi invested in the telco's parent, but Israel Chemicals fell on the day's biggest turnover.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.39% to 1,195.14 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.48% to 1,076.63 points, and the BlueTech 50 Index rose 0.79% to 302.48 points. Turnover was NIS 851.2 million.

The TASE rose today, in line with gains on European markets and at the opening on Wall Street.

In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.637/$, up 0.53% on Friday's rate, and set the shekel-euro exchange rate at NIS 4.745/€, up 0.53%.

In the bond market, long-term Shahar unlinked shekel government bonds and long term Galil CPI-linked government bonds both fell. The corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index rose 0.13%.

In the stock market, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 0.8%. Its parent company B Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq:BCOM; TASE: BCOM) and its parent company, Internet Gold Golden Lines Ltd. (Nasdaq: IGLD; TASE:IGLD) 1.9% and 4.9%, respectively, as investors continued to react to the sale of B Communications shares to Teddy Sagi last week.

Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) fell 1.4%, and subsidiary Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE: ICL) fell 1.8% for the biggest losses among Tel Aviv 25 shares. Israel Chemicals' turnover of NIS 91.5 million was the biggest of the day. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 0.1%, after being cleared in the French package switching affair.

Delek Automotive Systems Ltd. (TASE: DLEA) fell 0.1 % in heavy trading, following a sale of shares by Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG), which rose 1.2%.

Elsewhere in the market, Modiin Energy LP (TASE:MDIN.L) rose 7.9%, after announcing an update on the settlement with its partners in the Gabriella license. Shemen Oil and Gas Resources Ltd. (TASE: SOG) fell 9.3%, after announcing an update on its insurance settlement for the breakdown at the Yam 3 well. Its partners Zerah Oil And Gas Explorations LP (TASE: ZRAH) fell 6.2% and Zmiha Investment House Ltd. (TASE: TZMI) rose 0.5%.

Mazor Robotics Ltd. (Nasdaq: MZOR; TASE:MZOR) rose 2% on new US orders.
