Wed: Stocks flat

Food companies Osem and Strauss were the biggest advancers among Tel Aviv 25 stocks; Israel Chemicals was unchanged on the day's highest turnover.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) was flat today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index dipped 0.07% to 1,206.06 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index edged up 0.03% to 1,089.05points, and the BlueTech 50 Index rose 0.22% to 306.93 points. Turnover was NIS 695.4 million.

The TASE was flat today.

In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.646/$, down 0.11% on yesterday's rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.674/€, down 0.49%.

In the bond market, long-term Shahar unlinked shekel government bonds and long term Galil CPI-linked government bonds fell. The corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.10%.

In the stock market, Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STRS) and Osem Investments Ltd.) (TASE: OSEM) rose 1.7% and 1.2%, for the biggest gains among Tel Aviv 25 shares. Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE: ICL) was unchanged on the day's biggest turnover of NIS 42.9 million. Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) fell 1.5% for the biggest loss among Tel Aviv 25 shares.

Elsewhere in the market, Perion Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:PERI: TASE:PERI) rose 12%, on reports that Conduit Ltd. is in talks to acquire the company. Ceragon Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: CRNT; TASE:CRNT) rose 1.4% on an Asian order.

Hamashbir 365 Holdings Ltd. (TASE:MSAH) was unchanged, after announcing that it was teaming up with eBay Inc. (Nasdaq: EBAY).

Small-cap Synel Payway MLL Ltd. (TASE: SNEL) rose 18.2%, after announcing a large dividend.
