273-room Netanya hotel approved

The seafront Lagoon hotel, residential and commercial project will cost more than NIS 1 billion to build.

Dizengoff Trading Company Ltd., owned by the Zelicha family, has obtained a building permit to build a 273-room hotel at its seafront Lagoon project in Netanya.

The Netanya Municipality has been promoting several plans for the construction of seafront hotels along its boardwalk. 380 hotel rooms have been built in the city in the past five years, more than in any other city.

The Lagoon is a hotel, residential and commercial project with four buildings, including two residential high-rises, one with 34 floors and the other with 37 floors, with a total of 320 apartments. A third building will have 220 recreation apartments. Dizengoff Trading says the complex will cost more than NIS 1 billion to build.
