Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) has won a $32 million (AU$35 million) contract to supply an investigation, intelligence and incident management solution to the Australian Federal Police. The contract was won through Elbit Systems of Australia Pty Ltd. The system will be delivered over four years.
Elbit Systems president and CEO Bezhalel Machlis said, "Australia is a very significant market for Elbit Systems." He hopes that other countries will place orders for the company's intelligence and analysis systems.
