The 3D seismic survey of the offshore license near the Dalit field will begin in the coming days and take one month.
Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) and Noble Energy Inc. (NYSE: NBL) will begin a 3D seismic survey in the coming few days at the Ruth C offshore license in the coming few days to discover if the sites contains commercial quantities of natural gas. The survey of the license and surrounding areas will last about one month.
This will be the first comprehensive 3D seismic survey in Israel's waters carried out by Delek and Noble since the Leviathan survey in 2010.
The Ruth C license is close to the small Dalit gas reserve and covers 400 square meters. The license holders are Noble Energy (47.05%) and Delek Group energy exploration units Delek Drilling Limited Partnership (TASE: DEDR.L) (27.83%) and Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) (25.1%).
