Nochi Dankner's sister sells IDB shares

Shelly Bergman reduced her holding to 3% by selling 342,000 shares.

More evidence that the end of the era is near in which Nochi Dankner is the controlling shareholder in IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH) can be seen in the fact that his sister Shelly Bergman has sold some of her stake in the holding company. Bergman, holds 1.8 million IDB shares amounting to 3.8% of the insolvent company's equity. Last week she sold 342,000 shares at an average price of NIS 3.85 per share for NIS 1.3 million, reducing her holding to 3%.

The sale comes as the Tel Aviv District Court decides whether to approve the bondholder's vote to accept the Elsztain-Ben-Moshe bid, which would see Dankner lose control of IDB.

Bergman, 51, is Dankner's younger and only sister. She is married to Ido Bergman, controlling shareholder in Bar Holding and Distribution Group.
