Tourist entries from Great Britain rose 26% to 13,341 in December 2003.
The number of tourists visiting Israel from France rose 47% in 2003, and the number of tourists from the US rose 28%, compared with 2002. The Ministry of Tourism statistics and information department published the figures.
Figures for December 2003 show 18,953 tourist entries from France, a 42% increase; 29,803 tourist entries from the US, a 42% rise, and 13,341 tourist entries from Great Britain, a 26% increase.
