Israeli-Palestinian delegation leaves for Turkey

Eight Palestinian Chambers of Commerce heads are in the delegation.

A joint delegation of leaders of Israel and Palestinian economic organizations left yesterday on a visit to Turkey, in preparation for the pending visit to Israel by Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan. Other Turkish ministers and 100 Turkish business people seeking cooperative ventures with Israeli and Palestinian business people will visit Israel together with Erdogan.

The Israeli-Palestinian delegation includes eight Palestinian Chambers of Commerce heads, former Israeli Ambassador to Turkey Uri Bar-Ner, Israel-Turkey Business Council chairman and former Ministry of Foreign Affairs director-general Dr. Alon Liel, and Association of Contractors and Builders in Israel chairman Aharon Cohen.

In order to promote trade relations between Israel and Turkey, the delegation will meet with Erdogan and leaders of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
