The company has obtained EU CE Mark certification for its vertical dynamic focus technology for the selective ablation of fatty tissue.
UltraShape Medical Ltd. (TASE: USLP) has obtained EU CE Mark certification for its Vertical Dynamic Focus (VDF) technology for the selective ablation of fatty tissue, enabling the treatment of a greater volume of fat and cellular tissue suitable for a wider range of patients.
Ultrashape said that its customers in Europe and South America have been waiting for the CE Mark for some time, and that it would begin marketing VDF-enabled devices immediately, through distributors.
Ultrashape's share price rose 31.6% by mid-afternoon to NIS 0.025, giving a market cap of NIS 66 million.
