Sundy 9/12/2012

The global economy is changing before our eyes. Old money is being replaced by new money. Some regions are growing, while others are collapsing. Personal wealth management has become an especially challenging task for the world's wealthy families, and they are seeking sophisticated wealth management tools. Traditional private banking no longer meets the demands of clients, who expect their wealth to increase in a complex world with an uncertain environment. Today, private banking is rapidly morphing into wealth management. The panel examine this transition to answer the question, "What are the world's wealth families looking for?"

The panel will examine the following questions:
A claim has been made lately that private banks are now grandiosely calling themselves wealth management.
Is the difference only in name?
What are the needs of wealthy families? What do they expect from their banks?
How has the global crisis and regulator changes, such as tax rules, Basel 3, and cross border regulations, affected the world's banks?

Participants:

Kobi Faigenbaum, CEO, UBS Wealth Management Israel

Lilach Asher-Topilsky, Head of Retail Banking, Bank Hapoalim
Tal Keinan, Founder, Chairman & CEO, KCPS
